The courses for 2010:

Class one June 19 - 26 June 2010
Class two June 26 - 3 July 2010

Writers wishing to use Collaldra as a retreat may also make arrangements for other dates throughout the summer (see HomeAwayHoliday Rentals Property Number: 97410). Barrie will be in residence most of the summer.

The classes are aimed for both practising writers to beginners and will examine ways of turning life-experiences and other stories into works of fiction for theatre, TV, radio and film – as well as novels and short stories.

The classes run Monday – Friday mornings for three and a half hours – maximum participants 8.

Classes may be booked for a one week or two week period.

Costs include accommodation at Collaldra (either in one of the apartments or in the farmhouse itself) breakfast, lunch, tea and two evening meals each week.

Extra supplement is required if you use studio apartments in our local village of Tarzo.

We also provide linen including towels for the pool.

Participants should make their own travel arrangements. We arrange pick-ups from the airport. Flights from UK to TREVISO via RYANAIR or VENICE MARCO POLO via BA or EASYJET.

There is a car park at Collaldra for those wishing to travel by car.
